My husband is Thomas Arthur Fallis. His mother is Grace Mary Wember Her father is John Anthony Wember and I found Anton or Anthony Charle s Wember, born about November 1867 in Russia/Lithonia and died 16 Ma y 1918, Married to Amelia Shymkus who was born about 1873 in Russia/Li thonia and died 1919. She immigrated to USA in 1892, to Illinois. Anth ony Charles died in Wisconsin, having immigrated in 1888. Anthony Char les's father is Charles Wember and his mother is Catherine Jasielonc a nd it does say Charles was born in 1834 in German and died 1919 in Wis consin. It says his parents were RUssian, but as you said, the countri es were different at the time and all intermingled.
